Torbole, Lake Garda

Getting to the main windsurf area at Lake Garda we found it a bit like little Germany as the bars and restaurants would all talk to us in German as they seemed to have claim it as there own.

Mat caught a some images of me launching here, I am glad I took the 7.5m and 128L Mistral Screamer especially due to the buoyancy situation when sailing on fresh water.

The lake police fine you if you do not wear a life jacket of some sort, it wasn't just the beers on the journey down that added to my upper body size.

Due to the light wind conditions here, Mat had to resort to taking some of my higher volume equipment out,  I will let him tell you about his walk of shame.  I would just say it maybe worth taking a taxi fair with him next time.

Austrian Alps

Travelling throught the Alps here became a bit hairy, I think we must have been the largest vehicles on the Brenner pass then apart from the low loader that was obviously on a Sat Nav route.

The roads through Austria seemed to be well barriered and protected, once in Italy they took a more laid back approach making evert man fend for himself.
